why is it in gt4 every car sounds the same? A heads/cam vette sounds like a riced out dodge neon...and the same for a 700hp lightning...wtf...they make the grafix a little better but only have one sound clip for allt he car exhausts? wtf

the reason why is kinda stupid... everygame made for a certain platform(xbox, ps2, etc) can only hole a certain amount of memory on the game disc. and the game makers have to plan out how to spend all of this memory space. so first they get the essentials down(graphics, backgrounds, etc) so when it comes to sound, they don't have enough memory to give each car its own distinct sound. so a lot of the engines sound the same. but that might all change when PS3 comes out

that's happened in some of their other games too. GT3 had some strange engine noises. i know a 700+ HP Camaro SS doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner.

yah i knew that...and kinda illuded to it in my post...but they could offer a rice sound and then a muscle car sound of some sort...i dont think two different tones would kill the mood of the game
