If you ever venture over to CamaroZ28.com, Discount Tire Direct is a sponsor and there is a contact you can call. I've bought several sets of Nittos this way and they are usually about $10 less than what is advertised on their website.

Here's his info:

Ok..pet peeve time..

In a modern tire, there are 3 numbers people...THREE NUMBERS!! Not R15, not 1..95.

A tire size would look like 205/65R15. You need all three numbers.
First number is section width in millimeters. so thats 205 mm.
2nd number is aspect ratio, or % of section width. That gives you the size of the sidewall.
R stands for radial tire. If your tire oes not have an R on it, it is not a radial tire.
last number is the rim size. In this case, this rim is 15 inches.

So, if you would so kindly tell me the 3 numbers I need to know, and I can check stock. 165's are hard to come by because they are not a popular, or a tire in production anymore really. Good luck finding a tire with a 165 section width and 15 inch diameter rim. I dont even know if I would have a 175/80r15. Your best bet is a 185/75r15 if you can find it. I will check stock later.

that must be a speical race tire, because there is no such thing as "no aspect ratio" on a modern, p-metric tire.

They are oddball tires.....only made for VW Bugs and skinnies

Tell most local shops you need a 165R15, and they know what you're talking about

There is no aspect ratio printed on the side of craig's tires...just says 165R15

Justin is correct.

165 R 15 AKA VW tire
