post your fav. old skool games

i was lookin up to find out when oregon trail was made and found all these old ass games that i used to play. post any game prior to Playstation (since its only about what 6 or 7 years old, not that old really)

heres my list:
Altered Beast (sega)
Mario Games (nes)
Sonic Games (sega)
Burger Time (nes)
Duck Hunt (nes)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (nes)
Super Putty (snes)
Ninja Gaiden (nes)
Street Fighter series (snes)
Mortal Kombat series (sega)
Sim City 2000 (made back in the late 90s for the pc)
Doom Trilogy (pc)
wolfenstein! (pc) there was a 13th level in that, if you jumped/warped to it there wasnt an exit

thats all i cant think of right now...

that mario game for like atari or whatever when you were just running around avoiding stuff and there was that huge "POW" thing in the middle and if you hit it, everything on the screen would flip over

i cant believe i forgot about heretic and hexen, they were like the same thing as doom but with different weapons and a diff story line, great games though. i also forgot about killer instinct, one of my best friends brothers was a beast at that game..

madd long ago i bought this thing called Doom Gold (i think thats what it was called) at a computer show, it was supposedly a "code hacker" for doom for lack of a better description. supposedly you could make new levels and weapons for all of the doom games but i could never get the damn thing to work....

most of the old stuff you cant play on xp, for example try installing office 97 on xp, or anything else that was made for 95/98
