Good thing I didn't race....

On my way home form the Nats I got to I-87 in NY and my car started making some under hood noise (a rattle). Felt OK but it got louder and about a mile or so from my house the car started losing a little power. Well it was exactly what I thought it was, got the valve covers off yesterday and one of the rockers dropped a needle bearing (Damn LS1 rockers!). Ordered some Harland Sharp 1.8's (REALLY wanted Yella Tera's but too much $$$)since my friends have had good luck with them and they are relatively cheap so hopefully it will be running again in a day or so. I just hope they last until I get cracking on the new engine next year. I also REALLY hope the needle bearing is in the oil pan when I drain the oil. that would suck if it isn't.
