Its already pushing a month & two weeks right now. I think thats going to be the longest I have not been able to drive it. Only other time was when it was at TTP at this same exact time last year, and then All-Star for a blown trans.
... All of this because of a broken header bolt... who would have thought

hmmm...as of now, i haven't driven my car in 1 year, 1 month, and 1 week. Thats when i started have the fuel issue, then 1.5 weeks later the motor blew apart. So far, it seems it should be up again before the new year...

Heard mine run earlier this month - after owning it for 18 months. I've never driven it though beyond pulling it forward a few feet then reversing it back into its spot to test the tranny.

I took about a year off of restoring my car, because I just lost interest. The last time I heard it run? Last monday night, and Ill hear it again tonight. The Camaro, I see it every day, its at the end of my driveway with a big sign on it, but I havent run it in about 2 and a half weeks. Longest time I was away from that was when the opti went, and I was driving my buddys 5.0 for about 2 months two years ago. I had the opti but just didnt want to replace it, besides I was having way too much fun driving his car while he was away at school!

Almost 5 months, June-Nov '04. It spent all that time sitting in a shop 10 miles away. When I got it back the roof and trunk lid were sunfaded from sitting outside for so long. And not only that, but a small cartoon drawn in the dust on the trunk lid became permanent due to the fadeing. All that time for a simple 350 rebuild.

It was Feb of 2000 that I last heard my 69 Z28 run! I haven't seen the car in either 2 or 3 years in October, I forget. Back when I was in college, sophomore year I had a 69 Camaro conv that sat in the garage at home in NJ while I was at school in Rochester, NY. I would go 3-4 months without seeing it. I couldn't afford insurance until I started working that summer.

2000? Pfft. Slacker. I'm working on 10 years...and likely 2 more until it runs. At least in those 10 years, I finished & sold my 82, changed careers, finished my MBA, got married, bought a house, and had 2 kids. And now, bought the 77. So, it wasn’t an uneventful 10 years.

its been about 3 weeks since I have driven the 96 i think..... when I do bring it out, its only for about a few hours just so i dont get flat spots. Then when i park it, I park it somewhere else in the yard to give the grass a chance to grow......
