Gas smell

Ever since I got the car about 5 months ago, every once in a while I'll smell gas inside the car. I checked all the fuel lines, fittings, and saw nothing. I did find that the smell is coming from the back of the car once I open the hatch. It's not all the time tho, just once in a while. Any ideas?

would it need to be replaced if it's that? I'm pretty sure they can't be cleaned out. I could be wrong tho.
