wildlife is annoying

CTS-V: 1 Racoon:0

stupid nocturnal creatures... if you see 2 pairs of HIDs bearing down on you, dont walk your fat ass across the road. Especially when its one lane wide coming right off a highway...

he must have been a good 30lbs and i was doing at least 60mph... Impact was my lower lip on the passenger side front. Some fur on it still, but no real damage, i just had to take the splashgaurd underneath off since all the clips popped out when it hit. ill put it back on tomorrow... im pretty sure it cracked a little paint too, but there were already imperfections so it dont matter.

funny thing is when i got out to see if there was any damage i thought to myself... "well guess its time for an 09+ cts V front nose..." I was shocked there wasnt a huge hole in my bumper and that my fog light was still there.

I’m sure the raccoon didn’t think to highly of you either.

I hit a raccoon, a few birds and a cat in my time. In my defense, the birds and the cat hit me.

i was already in nj a day so i had already washed it off.

i looked at it today, bumper is fine, just splashgaurd and wheel well liner push pins were knocked out or loosened.

only damage was the mounting bracket for the passenger side fog/turn signal was cracked somewhere, its loose now.. oh well, when i switch to custom clears, ill epoxy that rare V bracket that they want 100+ bucks for...

Ouch, glad to hear it wasn't too bad! I hit a racoon many years ago, and the song playing on the radio (no lie) was Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot."
