Beautiful day for a drive with the top down

24 degrees when I left my house at 7am. Took the Camaro to get inspected since it's 2 months overdue. Hasn't gone out in over 2 months so it wasn't a big issue, but since there's a chance I may take it to the meet next Saturday I figured might as well get it done. Scared the snot out of some old guy in a Civic in Chester. We were in the left lane waiting for someone to turn onto 206, and an opening appeared in the right lane so I booked it out and actually saw the guy jump in his seat with his eyes wide open wondering who that idiot was
Wore a hat and a hoodie. Got quite a few WTF looks.
Still have never used the heat in the car since we got it .

Was the car sitting in the garage with the top down for the past couple of months? You can damage the top putting it down if it's too cold and tight. I know, I've done in the past to one of my first gen convertibles and my buddy did it to his 66 Mustang convertible. Don't they check at inspection to make sure the back window isn't completely clouded?

When I got close to the destination, aka about 25 min later, I put the top back up. I never knew they checked the back window but since I dropped off the car (private inspection) and went to take a company truck to work I wasn't going to leave the top down. Nor did I want to leave it down for extended time periods in the cold. It was pretty warm by the time I dropped it off as well. Back window is tinted 5% so it's pretty much useless whether it's cloudy or not
