For sale is my Red 1970 Firebird Formula 400 with total rebuild of the numbers matching Pontiac YS400 code engine which used the original matching numbers YS block, crank, heads, intake and exhaust manifolds. All wear parts including all seals, gaskets, rings, pistons, etc were replaced. I also replaced the original cam with a RamAirIV spec cam, hardened seats in the original machined heads to run unleaded fuel, total rebuilt of the Turbo 400 transmission with heavy duty shift kit, and total rebuild of the original 12 bolt rear with NOS Eaton Posi unit with 3:07 rear gear, plus new custom bent 2.5 inch dual exhaust from factory headers back to dual stainless tips, 2.5 inch Cherry Bomb glass pack mufflers, all new fuel lines, brake lines, transmission lines, brake booster, master cylinder, fuel pump, water pump, timing chain and cover, re-chrome of the of the original chrome dual snorkel intake cover, door handles, rear bumper, plus new tail lamp lenses and bezels, new dash cover, new rear package tray, new OEM floor mats, new front windshield, new Goodyear Eagle GT tires, new trim rings, etc, etc, etc – much money put into this great 1970 Formula 400. This car is currently garage stored & covered with just 60,742 original miles. Car includes complete PHS Pontiac documentation, copy of original window sticker, copy of original owners manual, copy of previous CA title and previous CA license plate, show board with 1970 Formula advertising, receipts for all replaced parts, all trophies including an All GM class win at the Hemmings Motor News MusclePalooza show and custom car cover.
