4th gen battery cover...
today i realized i need a cover for the battery in my SS... the neon green isnt cutting it. Its an interstate mega-tron, and i was thinking they were gray like my old ones, but when i went to buy it, i see the top is bright f'ing green. If i didnt get such great deals on interstate, i wouldn't have got it. Ive seen battery covers for sale in the past but i dont know... some are cheap like $20 and others are like $90. I also see they are usually held to the battery with velcro... What i was thinking of doing, was getting some sheet metal cutting it to shape, and folding over the edges. Then i was gonna paint it pewter and put a decal on it saying something like "SS #1709". what you think?

Sounds good. Just need to make sure you don't ground out the battery.
