Thumbs up new personal best.

hey guys its Levi, i ran friday and i got my new personal best with my stock 305. i ran a nice 15.2 i might have been able to run in the 14s but my 60' sucked. next time im going to run my slicks with high psi so i dont grip to much but enought to grab better then streets. also possobly a wet shot of NOS. my tactics are a nice burnout a non- hooking launch... and then speed shifting. i want to get away from speed shifting cuz im worried ill float my valves.... thanks guys for the tips and advice

Post up your full slip.....at least the 60' 1/8 mile ET and mph and 1/4 ET and mph.

If you are on street tires, don't do a big burnout, just give it enough gas to clear any debris off the tires (stones, cig. butts, etc that you can pick up in the pits). Street tires get slippery when they heat up, unlike slicks and drag radials which get sticky.

Speed shifting is just shifting really fast. You back off the gas.

Power shifting is right foot to the floor the whole way.
