while im at it...

my intake manifold is leaking...so i figure while teh intakes off why not slap on an lt4 intake??? my question is will i see any gains with just that or is it pretty much the same as the stocker

Not worth the money. Pull the heads and get them ported and match it to your stock intake. You'll pick up more power that way. BTW the LT4 Intake does not bolt up to your stock heads! It requires the LT4 heads which in their state suck.

Best bet if you wanna keep it low buck, is the LT4 Hot-Cam kit, Ported Heads & Ported Intake.

Im pretty sure Stage 1 on Rt. 23 is the closest next to you might be able to do it. Defenitly give them a ring and tell what you have in mind. If they dont feel comfortable, Im pretty sure they can recomend some really good local machine shops.

Im at school right now, but I have Stage 1's number at home, or you can goodle them "Stage 1 Performance"
