My life is over

Got pulled over on thurs night on the way home from Rowan...
Ticket 1 - Doing 65 in a 40...on greentree road
Ticket 2 - Not having registration in the car (which i found in the car the next day)
Ticket 3 - Reckless Driving
Ticket 4 - DWI under the age of 21
Ticket 5 - DWI ( i guess theres a difference)

And all cause i cant manage to let myself drive the speed limit
Any one have any good advice or know neone whos been in a simalar situation and the right way to try and attack this...
am i looking at massive amounts of fines and points and a suspension
Or should i get a lawyer and fight it out in court

Important facts...i am only 19, which i understand is underage but i only blew a 0.04 on the breathalyzer test so does that help me out at all...?

For lack of a better word, you're ****ED.

EDIT: all you have to blow is a 0.01% in Jersey when you're underage and you're screwed http://www.dui-dwi.com/new-jersey-du...erage-dwi.html

Just say you were chewing Dentyne Ice. With one piece of it for the first 15 minutes, you can blow a .01 cuz of its alcohol contents. It did that for me on the miniature breathalizers that you can buy in Flea Markets. Not completely sure of it tho :2Cents:

the only hope he's got is with an experienced DWI lawyer...

You know what you will get? I will tell you...
I used to work at a recycling center that involved community service people. 1st offense is 6 months suspension of license, prohibation, and 180 hours of community service.

And if you chew 1 piece of Dentyne Arctic Chill, you will blow a good reading.

I dont want to come across as an *******, cause I'm not, but you are royally ****ed! I hope it was worth it, cause you're not gonna be driving for a WHILE! I'll admit, I've done some really stupid things behind the wheel of a car, maybe thats why I lost my license for 7 months . Get the best lawyer you can, don't be afraid to spen thousands either if it will help you. those are some serious tickets and you better pray to god that a miracle happens.

Dude, like everyone else said, you are ****ed.

So you were driving over the speed limit, intoxicated, and were probably swerving. Sorry man, but I think there is no way out of this unless they changed the drinking age to 18 yesterday.
I bet you wont do this again. I doubt you will get any love from the court, so save yourself the money of finding a laywer and just take it like a man.

get a lawyer, tell him the straight truth, see what you can do from there. Â*For instance in my accident there was a ticket i got for not having insurance card, I brought it to court and that was dismissed. Â*The speeding ticket can get reduse, and reckless can get pled down to careless or if youre REALLY lucky unsafe... the DWI tho you may be SOL. Â*Again, find a good lawyer (if you or a parent has a legal plan w/ benefits from work you will be thanking everything that you have that). Â*Good luck... my advice is try to get as few points as possible and (im not sure if DWI is criminal but if it is) get the conviction reduced or something... me, I'd rather pay a huge fine than have the other ****. Â*Good luck.

well needless to say the general consensus is obviously that im ****ed...

according to my neighbor whos in with alot of the twp cops, the trick is that they right the DWI tickets with the reckless, and usually combine it into the reckless if you blow below the legal limit (even underage)

Also just found out that the road i was speeding on has a 45 speed limit, not a 40 like it says on the ticket, i dont think itll get thrown out but its like half the amount of fines

I once got blasted with a Reckless Driving,Improper Passing and Tailgating in one night and was getting ready to kiss the baby.i was told to get an attorney and he got it all brought down to just the Reckless because he said that involved all the other things i got tickets for..final cost was $400 for the attorney,$250 for the Reckless and 5 points to go with it and insurance surcharges up the Ass..the thing with your case is the DWI,which like everybody is telling you, your screwed

Later,

Santos
