Media blast a block

Has anyone ever had a block media blasted and painted? How much did it cost for the blasting and painting (separately priced if possible), and where did you do it? How long did it take? Does anyone here have the kind of facilities and equipment / materials to blast a block?

Thanks.

If you've got a air compressor then get a sand blaster for like $20. It's not hard and you can't really damage the engine UNLESS the media gets into the machined surfaces. Then before taking the tape off blow the engine off and vacuum it to make sure nothing gets into anything.
