11th Annual Cops & Rodders Car Show-North Brunswick NJ

Last year we had 75 F-Bodys participate in the Escort into the Cops and Rodders Car show, and had 100 F-Bodys in the Show, and a total of 600 cars show up-!

All F-Bodys meet at the Sears parking lot at 7:30am on April 24th.

We will meet up there, then head over to the show as a group.

The Sears is located on Route One southbound, just south of Route 18.

EMail me at NBP555@AOL.com and I will EMail you back a Registration form.

The North Brunswick NJ Police Dept Death, Retirement, Widows & Orphans Fund will be holding our 11th Annual Cops and Rodders Car Show on Sunday, April 24th 2004.

Last year we had over 600 cars at the show, and is growing each year.

It will be held at the DeVry College of Technology on Route One northbound, mid way between Route 130 and Route 18 on April 24th, with a rain date of May 1st.

All Pre-registered Vehicles are guaranteed a Polo Shirt.
Pre-registration is $15.00, and must be received by April 15th .

On site registration is $18.00 the day of the event

Anyone wishing a Registration form or has any questions can EMail me at NBP555@AOL.com, and I will send it out.

Most of the Information is on the Registration Form, but I'll give you some highlights here.

This is the 11th year of the show. Our 1st year we had 88 cars show, and it has been building every year. Last year we had well over 600 cars show, making us one of the BIGGEST shows around for what we are.
All kinds of cars show up, both old and newer. Everyone likes the mix of cars that show up, and that it is early in the year, where people are itching to the their rides outta the garage.

There is no "official" judging of cars. We give out trophys, but regular people give them out to the cars they like.

If your group would like to give out trophys amongst your club, you can do that. You can bring your own, or buy Trophy(s) from us to give out your group. The cost of a Trophy from us is $150. Where we make the money for the fund is from Trophy sales, food, shirts. Clubs in the past have collected money from it's members, and bought the trophy(s) from us to give as they wished amongst their club. If you'd like to buy trophy, let me know.

Admission for spectators is free.

Registration fee is $15 per car if you Pre-Register before April 15th.

Registration fee is $18 at the gate the day of the show.

ALL Pre-Registered cars will receive a Polo Shirt.

Also the day of the show, as you enter, we take a picture of you in your car, and we put it in a Plaque that you can purchase if you like.

We also sell food and shirts at the show.

The date of the show is April 24th, with a rain date of May 1st.

It starts at 9am, and ends at 2pm. Try to show up before 9am, as it takes time to get over 600 cars into the show.

It is held at the DeVry College of Technology, which is on Route One northbound in North Brunswick, midway between Route 130, and Route 18.

Anything else you need, let me know at NBP555@AOL.com

I am coordinating the F-Bodys for the show, so go through me for any questions you may have.

I should be there. I want to take the camaro but last year I remember having to park in the grass (I didn't drive). Do any of you guys know if there will be parking in the lot or anything if you're just there to watch? I'm not taking hte camaro up any curbs or anything like that...

The spectators have to park on the grass, the cars in the Show park in the paved lot.

well do you have to drive up any curbs or anything to get onto the grass? I don't have enough ground clearance to do it.

There is a paved ramp over the curb. You should be fine.

As soon as I know, I'll post it. It's possible the rain will be over by Sunday morning.

Thanx to all that came..

We had about 50 total F-Bodys, and over 350 cars show. Not bad considering the cool/cloudy weather start to the day, but at least it cleared up and got warm.
Not the usual 550-600 cars or so, but still not bad.

I went down, just to check things out. It was too cool and windy. That and I was too lazy to get up to uncover the car.
