sounds like it could be a pretty quick 305 tbi car...there are a few guys on here that know a thing or two...with your combo a high 13 isnt impossible.

Like the car... yours is an upgrade from my 88TA. No power locks or digital dash but has an automatic trans. Probably have the same 305 TBI.

I USED TO HAVE an 85 Camaro 305 4bbl, 90 Firebird V6, 97 Firebird V6 (10 speakers!). Despite the two family vehicles, 3 kids, wife and mortgage, I can finally realize the dream - 88 TA almost all stock... for now.

thanx guys. im going to leb this weekend. so i should have my frist times for the car. yea but i still need a set of good flowing headers and a open element to help that cam out, and a tune. but like i siad the car is on hold for the formula.

Looks like its time to adjust your ebrake cable, you lever is almost vertical in the pic.
I was under the impression that only the GTA's had the digital dash option. I don't think i ever seen one in a t/a.
but, decent looking ride though.

87 and 88 T/As coulda came with it but few were produce, its nice but i wish i had analog instead

Is there any major complication in switching from a digital dash to analog? You could prolly sell the digital dash for decent money if you replaced it.

not a plug and play swap, completely diff harness used cuz everthing is converted into electronic and not a potientomete(or known as a TPS also)

Not only that, but theres different sensors all around the car. The back hatch sensor, low washer fluid sensor and so on and so on. We are going from analog to digital in my buddies 88 GTA.
