Blackout Tail Lights
I see them on many camaros around here. Do the cops bother those of you that have them? They look nice. I know if you blackout the headlights they'll mess with you.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't picked up the car just yet. I'm still looking around (ebay, etc) for ideas on how to customize it.

Never had anyone say anything about my black-outs. Â*Ive had them on since about April as well.
Only Pain In the Ass ive had was with the rear tint & black-outs I could barely see my own reverse lights. And it'll get even worse when I replace the tint on the hatch with 5% Limo Black.

I've had blackouts on my car since I got it (Feb of last year)... never had a problem with them. On taillights, I don't think they're nearly as much an issue as headlights.

install a remote hatch release and pop the hatch when you're going to back up. problem solved.

Host the image on your cardomain, and get the link to the picture. Then do this:

I bought my 01 Z28 with blackouts. They look good. I really dont think cops would have a problem with it, but I do know DMV inspection will **** a brick about it.

Summit doesn't give me ****. but hell i got them for $10 brand new in the box off this kid. My driver side tail light has a stain/some pitting on it which is covered by they blackout.
