Backstreet Boys and F bodies? and a FIERO? WHAT?
While scanning the channels of the living-room TV, i stopped on MTV, which happened to have a new music video of the backstreet boys, riding down the street in a third gen camaro. The car immediately grabbed my attention, for I simply have no interest in the backstreet boys. The hatch of the car was removed so that 3 of the members could sit in the back. WTF. The video is meant to look like something out of 1985, and they are dressed as an 80's metal group would. The video progresses to a scene in a parking lot with fans and women, some overtly large, sitting, YES, SITTING, on the hoods of a 2nd gen firebird, and camaro or two, and.....
....A FIERO (notchback). Joy for me...... except I cringed at how the rivets on their jeans would be scratching the wonderful paint on the f-bodies, and the fiero, well, that car appeared to be a bit... okay, VERY sun faded. check it out, it's the "just want you to know" video.

I watched it without the sound on (at work). Its way over the top, but still brings back memories. Never thought of a Camaro as a good tailgate party vehicle until I saw the rear hatch off it.
Good find.
