Someone got keyed

Not me...the car my friend britt just bought (the one i posted about the accident) got a 99 blazer but it has a giant key mark down the side...it doesnt look deep but i was wondering if neone on here knows what theyre doing with detailing work trying to buff the scratch out. someone shoot me a PM or post to let me know what thoughts/prices may be

If it broke through the paint thats going to cost a good amount. They will have to repaint the doors and quarter and reclear the fender

try the duplicolor 2-in-1 before you take it to a shop to get repainted. it doesn't sound like you could make it much worse and you might end up making it look better if you take your time. they paint match by manufacturer, year and model, so the paint should match up fairly well. also, since it's a scratch and not a patch, you should have more luck making it look good.
