Dude, you are THE MAN! I have never seen someone take apart a car with that much gusto. I'm sorry I didn't call ya back to help on Monday; we got back late from the Dr.'s office.

thats ok steve, i did a lot of the interior on bolt on body parts on monday and tuesday and then on Wed i did the drivetrain, 1/4 panel, and small odd and end parts. If i worked straight through from 8 am to like midnight, i could have had it stripped to this in 1 day. The drivers 1/4 had damage from a gaurdrail so i left it, but the pass side was mint. I had to cut the trans tunnel and firewall to have enough room to pull the motor/tran/t-case out in one piece, stupid s10 front diff setup got in the way. The tow driver said i should buy a plasma cutter with all the chopping i do, as of now i just use my trusy sawzall, but when i finally get a 220v line, i think i will get a plasma cutter, itd be so much easier.

that WAS my plans, but after working out cost to repair, with all the parts i needed to get plus cost to paint the nose, plus purchase price, It turned out id make almost triple the profit of selling it whole by parting it out instead. so that was that

actually, the market for foreign car parts is very large. Vehicles like toyota camrys, honda accords, nissan altimas etc, are usually worth 3x more in parts than what they would sell for as a perfectly working car. If i could get one at a reasonable price i would part it out. But even wrecked, most go for over 1000, which is over my personal limit for parts cars.
