Free 93-97 f-body front brake setup
Good calipers, rotors, and brake pads, and knuckle. 60 k miles. I switched to LS-1 brakes. rotors and pads only have 5 k miles on them!

no 93-97 rotors are about an inch smaller, hence the reason he switched to ls1 brakes.

I think the brake upgrade is worth it, only its not going to cost you $150.00, like they advertise on EBAY. Nobody in there right mind is going to put used rusty brake calipers, and rotors on there car, and hope to stop. Plan on exchanging those brake calipers for a rebuilt set, i paid $100.00 at Norwood Auto Supply in Lakewood for a rebuilt set of calipers, and bought drilled and slotted rotors on EBAY for $75.00. So now your talking $325.00, and while i was at it, i replaced my lower ball joints, and tie rod ends, That was another $100.00.

the ls1 upgrade is def worth it for an lt1 car but... the best bang for the buck brake upgrade without killin your wallet is the c5 conversion. ive heard nothing but good stuff about this, especially for under braking lt1 cars. check out http://www.umiperformance.com/c5conv.aspx for the complete package. dont bother springing for drilled/slotted rotors as these are cosmetic qualities only and youll stop better with regular c5 brembo rotors. im doing this upgrade to my car.
