Classic deer hit.

Taken from a claim I reviewed at work yesterday. The Simplex driver actually drove like that from the scene to the shop.

I remember my mom telling me once that some insurance companies won't cover a deer hit claim without proof. I think this guy has enough proof. I don't remember the reasoning behind her story or if it's even true.

Sometimes it's hard to prove but you can look at the car and usually tell if it was a deer hit or not.

Too late. You gotta de-organ it (there's an actual term for that that is escaping me right now) immediately, otherwise it spoils.

I make a bunch of different venison recipes. Dad has some friends who hunt, they give him the dead deer, he takes it to a bitcher friend and gets the majority of the meat from it, the hunters take what they want and that's it. He has tons of steaks, chops, roasts, jerkey etc in his freezer.

Paul - nice artwork. I have to get you a copy of Photoshop one of these days so you can really go nuts.

Venison is damn good stuff, but it tends to dry out quickly if not cooked right. I have a nice stack of doe steaks in my freezer right now...

depends on what youre shooting it with, i think with muzzle loader (black powder) you can shoot one doe. and for a buck it has to have at least 3 points on one side of its antlers. with shotgun, i think you can only shoot bucks, and with bows, im not sure. i know a lot of hunters
