WTB: Parts for 93 TA
My ex gf's 93 Trans Am was in a bad wreck today. The whole driver side front end hit the back end of a big SUV. Here are some pictures.
It deffinatly seems as if the frame is toast in the front, so anyone know of a whole front clip? I brought up the idea of maybe going to a tubular set up, K-Member, A arms, etc.
BTW, here is what it looked like durring the summer.

ive got those wheels(the swirlies ones) and a drivers door, same color or close to it.
Id almost have to say total the thing out, if the frames hit...it can get expensive. May be better of going through insurance IF it had collision or wasnt her fault, then getting a salvage title(sometime tricky to keep the car but there are ways), and selling the car as is,(maybe to me) but seriously it looks like it'd need:
hood, door, fender, splash gaurd, drivers headlight assembly, plastic header panel, and possibly: front bumper, steering rack, a arms, spindle. and then time on a frame machine if you think it got hit that bad(+maybe frame rail or rad support)
add paint work to all that and you're easily looking at like 2500 or more(using mainly used parts).

Al, FYI I don't believe there's any frame/bracketing difference on the 93's as opposed to the 94+ cars, so you could probably broaden your search out some to help expedite things. How soon do you think you'll know if the frame is buggered???

Thats weird..
If you look at the wrecker in the pic it looks like its setup to be a self loader..but it has a regular L-arm style wheel lift..
Eh, looks like some old vulcan body..
Anyway..yeah that sucks, looked like a nice car

I have a good rubber bumper and the foam peice that goes under it, its from my 97 formula. Its not the TA bumper, but it bolts right on. Has no cracks in it, just needs to be sanded and painted your color $50.00.
