what's the deal with the police badges....

on cars where the inspection sticker is? I mean, I'm sure it has something to do with giving money away to the police, but I've seen em all over the place now. Anyone know the scoop/ how to get one?

Probably PBA/FOP shields. Just to remind the cop that you donated money to an organization that they are (hopefully) affiliated with, and hopefully the cop will see it and decide to be nice to you if you ever get pulled over.

I thought that was only the metal badge that you keep in your wallet? I see WAY too many of those metalic badges strapped to the back of cars like a Garfield doll.

So I guess we should call him lethalkeyboards2k3

They are FOP badges IIRC. I know someone that has one, and he has a really good friend in the FOP, and might get me hooked up. Not like it really matters anyway, I hardly ever get pulled over. If I do, its for something real lame.
