Yeah....believe it or not it turned out to be the battery. Friday morning before the E-Town part of Power Tour I had the local Chevy dealer test it and he said it was fine. I assumed it was the starter and upgraded to an LT1 high torque starter. Well that didn't work so I had Pep Boys test the battery and sure enough it was bad. It's a sad day when Pep Boys can test a battery correctly and your local Chevrolet dealer can't.

its not the ppl who do it per say, its the equitment in which they use to test the battery, some testers will pass a marginal battery some will fail it.

Very nice. That brings back memories. There are only two good parts about ripping out an interior - finishing the swap and finding the RPO sheet tucked under the carpeting beneath the back seats.

I USED TO HAVE an 85 Camaro 305 4bbl, 90 Firebird V6, 97 Firebird V6 (10 speakers!). Despite the two family vehicles, 3 kids, wife and mortgage, I can finally realize the dream - 88 TA almost all stock... for now.
