the F1 race from indy jsut finished. actually a pretty good race this year. huge wreck in the first turn, one car actually went over.
it was nice seeing the world's most high tech race cars competeing in the US again after the embarassment last year.

that makes 87 career F1 wins for schummy. it is great to see that after such a long career and so much success he still gets completely psyched to win.
the points leader, alonzo, had a crap day, finished 6th i think. so schu made some serious ground in the points.

this year was a much better race. although the future of F1 at indy is still in question. ton george apparently told the F1 people that this year woudl determine indy's future with F1.
for the $105 a grandstand ticket cost this year i sure as hell wasn't going after last year's disaster. maybe next year now that michelan seems to have their **** together again.
