Post Emissions Removal

I have a 1986 TA with the 305 TPI....I wanna take out all my emissions ****....will I have a check engin light if I remove the emissions components? And will my car run worse with out it? I need help with this one......

check engine light - yes. car will not run any worse. You can have the codes deleted everntually.

What will throw a code? Cause I didn't see any codes in the manual for any of the emissions stuff....

take out all the emissions and you will have no problems, EGR will throw a code though and you would have to have that deleted if you want to remove it, but i have a 91 trans am with no emissions, but left the egr and it runs fine and no codes
