in stock trim they run 11.5s. easily capable of more with better traction off the line. stock c5 zo6s run about a second slower.

the fastest recorded time for a bone stock 04 ZO6 was very high 11's. like 11.98 or something like that.

i saw a stock for stock race at the track, guy with the gt was goign easy on it when i saw it, and took the z06 by a little bit. he wasn't launching and neither could hook for **** on street tires. If i had that kind of money, where i could drop $200k on a car w.o thinking about it, i would still take the gt, i like the looks of it better.

One of the guys I used to work with has a 04 C5 Z06 runs 12.1 with an intake and clutch. Pretty freaking sweet if you ask me!

That it was hot....God I love that Z06. In the new C&D, it beats up the 911 turbo and F430, but takes 3rd for poor interior materials compared to the 200k Euro-Supecars.

Eh, it would be a toss up. They said in the article that the Z06 coming in 3rd vs the other two is like saying you had to settle for a date with Jessica Simpson instead of Heidi Klum or Monica Beluci.
