Banned Corvette Commercial

First time I saw this it's a great commercial but I can see why they didn't pop it on the boob tube.

They pulled the "kickball" one for the same reason if I remember correctly.

Yeah, so what's up with Ford getting away with Jeter and Spike Lee drag racing down city streets in Mustangs?

Something is rotten in the USA.

It was aired, then pulled off back when they first released the C6 and the whole American Revolution started.
WTLY is in order here. Too many mom's were upset that kids might take corvettes and try driving them upside down in large cement water mains.......
Porsche did a similar commercial, but didnt have the kid driving. A kid sees a 911 driving around, and then rides his bike to his local Porsche dealer where a salesman meets the kid at the door. The kid asks to sit in the 911, and the salesman treats him as a prospective buyer, opens the door, all that. Kid makes the noise and all this...gets out and says to teh salesman, "see you in 30 years" or somethng like that.
The whole image of kids dreaming about driving these sports cars, IMO, was a good idea and it seems that the 2 icons of your attainable sports cars came up with the same basic concept of a commercial at the same time.

I remember that one.

Oh, does anyone know where I can find the cobalt/C6 commercials? I'm trying to find the one where the cobalt kept bumping the vette from behind, then finally the vette gets mad and does a standing burnout u-turn to face the cobalt. I LOVE that commercial

True, the Big Brother commercials were great. Maybe we can see the return of the "middle" child in these commercials.
