how hard is it to do on a 88 z28 and does anyone know of any shops that would do it thanx

dont even bother, the car is not designed to have ttop if it is a hardtop factory, anyone who says it can be done is just asking for trouble.
For the price to do it adaquetly.. you could buy several rust free ttop 3rd gens...

4th gens are a completely different story though.
