Wireless network question
so i brought my comp back from school so i can play over the break, and come to find out, i lost the paper with my networks ssid...how do i go about getting my ssid off of my host comp. so i can run my comp off of it?

either download netstumbler and run that, or browse to 192.168.0.1 and you should be able to log into your router. You can't see it when you search for available wireless networks?

It's a Linksys router, so it's 192.168.1.1, and I think I set it to not broadcast the SSID. Either way, I got him setup the other day.....

oh ok. At least it sounds like you know how to setup a wifi network correctly
I love when people think a 64 bit wep key is sufficient protection
