They have arrived...
I finally ordered my these Black-Fiber K6 seats from www.madracingconcepts.com. I have been following a few threads on LS1tech about people searching for the right "budget" racing seat with there opinions, trials and what not. These particular ones grabbed my attention because of the style and color, so I thought they would look great in a charcoal/black Camaro interior. I decided to sell my current leather seats because they were just not my thing, and they offered very little driving support. I have always wanted a Recaro style seat in my car because of the "race" look. For as long as I can remember I have always loved the road racing look and strived for that as my goal for my car, and this is just the first step.
The first thing I noticed with the seats was how they are very similar to the ones found in an Acura RSX. My girlfriend owns a 05 RSX and ever since she got it I was always in love with the seats. They offered a comfortable feel to them with plenty of support on the sides. I gave them a good look over, and I have to admit for the $280 shipped to my job the quality is quiet impressive. The stitches of the cloth are clean and even and look like a tight weave. There is no sagging in the cloth cover and it looks very tight. All the metal is polished and not rough looking.
Although i have a leg injury and can't really enjoy them yet, when i did sit in them it felt so right! The side bolsters just grabbed me and held me in comfortably. It was a little tight but it felt good, even with full pockets! (razor phone, pack of gum & a wallet) Im sure they will adjust with some miles on them. I'm 21, about 5'11 and weight 150lbs, and am rather slim so these seats are perfect for me.
Now I just have to get my car running and plop these puppies in, and I can give a better write up!

Here they are sorta "installed" with no sliders. I just threw one in to see how it would look and I really really like it!
Sorry about the dirty mess inside I haven't started cleaning it yet since its going to a shop next week for other reasons.
Only thing I noticed was they sat a little low, but that will change once the sliders are mounted. So far so good though!

They came with sliders in the box so later today I think Sal & I are going to test fit, and if we need to draw up some templates.

So far shoulder fitment has been pretty nice, I think its the perfect balance for grip yet still be able to sit and such.
And if the scale was truthful they weighed about 15.5lbs
