sprung a leak, dexcool is expensive!
my lower radiator hose sprung a leak last nite, a pretty big leak once the car warmed up and it had pressure. i go to napa and get a new hose and 2 gallons of awesome GM Dexcool. the hose was $13 and the dexcool was $15 EACH lol

Damn, I usually get dexcool for about 7 bucks a gallon. What vechile is this on, they really didnt start using that till mid 90's roughly

Did you mix it with tap water or distilled (or was it pre-0mixed 50/50)? I hear it doesn't like tap water, makes it gel.

Im like 75% sure i got it at target once for like 7.99 for the havoline Dexcool.

yea i got the havoline, i didnt mix anything just poured it in, its in the 91 5.7L

Walmart has it for 8 something... i now use green though because my mechanic switched it over when i started having problems with leaks.

Tthe dexcool isnt really ment for the older motors, its better to run the green or something along those lines.
