mats and rims

I'm in the market for a new set of balck mats for my '88 formula 350 ws6. I want them to match the originals - with the little black rubber "GM" emblem in the center of the 2 front ones. Any ideas? Also, I have the original rims on the car that are in excellent shape. What's the best polish to use. I was in pep boys and all the labels on the polishes I saw said something like "...not recommended for painted, treated, clearcoated, etc..." That made me nervous about using them. Thanks in advance.

Best polish for a clearcoated rim is just regular good car wax. Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax is great for removing brake dust and putting a nice protective coating on the rim.
