Angry End of a dream...

Yesterday Big Jon hauled the Stinkin' Lincoln away, and I spent some time last night mulling over "what could have been." That car was going to provide the drivetrain for an Aussie Ford Falcon, or a NASCAR style Torino. But I had to give it up. My friggin' piece of chit township that won't even enforce the 35 MPH speed limit in front of my house has time to tell me what I can or can't have in my driveway. I'm just waiting for them to hassle me about the T-Type being up on blocks. That's when I DO fight city hall! But now all I have are memories of the Stinkin' Lincoln...and it's big 460 that wouldn't even do a burnout.

Well Bob, I want to say thanks again, but I wouldnt put that vision you had away, because it is exactly what I see happening to that Engine / Rear combo but just mated together with a stick shift. Oh and that whole problem of not being able to do a burnout...well that will not happen with the next one

Look at the bright side. Now you can better focus on what you still have!

Bob I have plenty of 460 parts around when the time comes anything from a 429 to 500 inches. I have been building them for a customer for over 15 years. Just ask

I am glad to hear the green monster found a home. Have fun with that drivetrain.

Yeah, I am going to be pulling most of everything in the next few weeks, and then it goes to the planning stage

I saw a 460 set up in a 79ish Fairmont (Early fox body Fairmont). It was painted baby blue and looked bone stock except for the 7.5 badge on the side of it
