2000 MEMBERS!!!
Wow!!
I just noticed that we have eclipsed the 2000 member mark. Funny what can happen when two drunks combine a credit card and a mediocre idea.
Thanks for the continued support. This is a great milestone, especially as we head into our 5th anniversary year in 2009.

By percentage, our active membership is pretty high actually compared to most other forums.
Hopefully we can get a few things going on the site after the pending software upgrade to attract more members and a lot more site activity.

I can't even imagine the kinds of debauchery that would take place there.
I'm on board with that idea.

there shouldnt be a software issue. they offer mods for vb (this kind of forum) that can add shoutboxes, chat rooms, and stuff of that nature. but im not sure how much bandwidth it would use.

Because they still receive the newsletters, some show up to meets, and many are people who signed up to stay up to date on the Nats and any other major antics we come up with. Just because people read and hang out but don't post regularly doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to be members.

Eh, cheapen it however you guys want. 2000 people still gave a crap enough to sign up. And the amount of traffic on here is pretty good for a regional board.

Thankfully we have plenty of server to handle it
If we were getting to storage limits or had to worry about millions of searches a day, it would be a different story.

If we could i say make the forum theme colored Blue and black. Its different, where our forum is white have it blue and where its blue have it black. I feel the white is bright and isnt as attractive. Being that im here nearly everyday, sometimes several times a day it starts to get to me.
Maybe start a list of ideas ( as a sticky ) from the active members of a theme for the 5 year anniversary. I'll keep thinking and coming up with ideas for now. I feel we need to make a unique appearence change, and not Unique as in the Speed TV show.
