dislocated my shoulder
it all happened yesterday at my hockey game. I went to check this kid and i just ended up clipping him and my shoulder popped out and i landed on it. After i got up my hand went completely knumb, at this point i could tell it was out. Heading to the line i popped it back into place and kept playing for the rest of the game. today i went to the emergency room because i woke up and wasnt able to move my arm without feeling horrible pain. Now i'm sitting here bored with nothing to do

If its an adult leauge team I dont remember seeing that name.
as for the shoulder, i would suggest an x-ray if there is inflamation. I wasnt able to put mine back in myself. MRI revealed damage to the rotator cuff I would not have known about at the time without seeing the doctor

its a varsity high school league, you play hockey?
As for the shoulder, i went to the ER and they took x-rays, the doctor checked it out and said that the pain is probably just from it being dislocated then put back into place. The muscle is probably stretched too far. Thanks for the advice though

yeah that too, be careful as you will now be more prone to injury. I see you ride, I used to have a CR250 and I poped it out on a table top in Walden, almost killed myself that day.

Every time I think or hear of a dislocated shoulder, I am reminded of Mel Gibson in Leathal Weapon, and how his always popped out.
The only thing more painful that dislocating a shoulder, would be dislocating a hip. Ouch!
Hope you heal up soon man.

i get mine sharpened at the ice vault in wayne. They actually do a pretty good job. when changing T-blades to normal blades, they suck. This season i had about 3 or four rivetts come out of the bottom of my boot, right under my heel.

dislocating joints bites the big one. i have popped out a few fingers, my thumb really bad once, and my knee. pay attention to whatever they say about taking it easy and rehab, it makes a big difference in the long run to do that stuff right.

This is where you are wrong buddy Try severing 7 tendons, 2 muscles, and a cpl nerves + veins in your forearm trying to catch a broken porcelin pony and let me know which one would be more painful hahahaha
I remember watching someone dislocating his jaw on a show on discovery channel... and I watched the doctor pop it back in... wow, that looks VERY excrutiating, especially the sound it made

no... the more painful thing is dislocating an elbow, the most painful thing you will ever do in your life there is alot of nerves that go through the elbow, at least the way i dislocated it haha
