My day sitting in a speed shop office...
Well I woke up bright and early today and the ride to Harris Speed Works to get my racetronix fuel pump installed, solenoids looked over and the car ran on the dyno to make sure eveything was working the way it should. I got there at 9:45am and left at ~5:30pm. It was a loooong day but everything worked out really well and I even got to drive the car home with no issues.
On another note, I will be having someone pick me up next time because I think I read every magazine they had in their office (A/C controlled with restroom thankfully). I even read the ford rags since I could not steal any internet since I was in the middle of no-where. I played every cell phone game that I have, which isn't many since I play the free 5-min ones and I'm a cheap bastard.
I'll post the dyno sheet tomorrow after I get some rest. The car ran fat (~10 A/F) but thats ok in my book since I rarely track the car and I just want to enjoy the little extra kick.
Now for the props: My experience today at HSW was a very good one. The HSW crew did a great job installing the racetronix fuel pump, checking over my solenoids, and running the car on the dyno. I luckily had only one small leak from the AN line going to the nitrous solenoid(they tightened the fitting, problem solved), but the one thing I have to take care of is where the tach signal is picked up for the window switch. One run it kicked in at 4500rpms and when I sqeezed the splice together it hit right at 3000rpm. Minor stuff. The numbers fell a little below my goals but the car did well and no hiccups.
Previous dyno day at HSW - 380rwhp, 370rwtq
Today with juice (100 shot) - 466rwhp, 504rwtq
NA numbers were considerably off today to which there were no apparent reasons why. The correction factors were in place both days but I was down nearly 25rwhp...kinda odd but whatever. Time to hit the track!

Haha I would have rather probably went and did something. Was hoping they would atleast put me to work but no go. I'll remember for next time though. Place is definitely in good order though.

Ahh man damnit...I don't want to spend any more money!!! Its definitely the weak link but I'm going to need some assistance re-wiring my shiftlight and tach signal wiring for the window switch (I still love how you called that crap being ghetto and yes it was).

sounds like a pretty good day.
don't worry about the car being down on power from day to day on the dyno. correction factors help even things up a bit, but they are more of an estimate to correct the power than a perfectly accurate system.

Well solved the lost power issue and its going to make me sound pretty dumb (more so than usual). I finally compared the runs from the previous dyno day and they simply weren't running it all the way up to 6K on the NA runs. The peak hp was always right before he got off the throttle which was 500rpm+ below where the peak power was on my previous peaks. The HP was still climbing as well so it must be fine.

dude...holy crap that pic scared the s&*^ out of me when I scrolled to the bottom. Now I can't even look at this thread...it's on! As I said, let me know about the exhaust work I want to have done. I'm thinking it will be minor since its just making the exhaust tips sit where I want them.
