Well Hell froze over...

My first car that I have ever owned, my 94 Ranger, has finally given me some serious trouble. On the way to my second job my transmission finally let go. It took 30,000 miles to finally hear a bang, and grinding noises before coming to a coasting stop lol. I pulled over not knowing what the hell it was, and with the car still on while checkign, it sounded like I broke a rod or spun a bearing or something, because I had a clackity clackity noise, but no oil, and it seemed to be runnign fine for having something go, so I decided to drive back to my house and get ready to think about what to do, when I went to shift into 1st........nothing, no movement at all, 2nd, same, 3rd, nada, I then realized that I more then likely broke something in the trans, and internally. So I called my parents, and my father prepared to try and come out and use a tow bar to pull me away ( did I mention I was on the Garden State Parkway, and had just passed the exit where I usually get off about 1000 feet away, but decided to go straight to the job site, go figure). So sitting there im pissed, thinking, and said frig it ill give it another try. Went thru all the gears, nada, but then I tried to put it into 4th, it wouldnt go into it. So I slammed it into 4th, and slowely let the clutch out and it wanted to move, SUCESS!!! I forgot thats the direct drive gear, and I had to drive home in 4th, got off at the next exit, and hit every light on the way home, and its not easy starting a 140hp truck out in 4th to get it to move, but finally made it home. So now I am work truckless, and pissed. The vehicle that never ever gave me any problems besides an alternator, which was my fault gettign water on it, decided to play the part changing game, but man if there is one thing I gotta say about that truck, you cant beat an 800 dollar truck that has been loyal to you for 5 years, yet I still have the feeliong I want my money back lol.

Damn....for a Ford it was a good truck, but then again you drove it like a grandma. O well get a 5-speed S10, I drove one with a 4.3 at work and they got some torque to em. not as much as my C10 but I PWNED the **** outta that truck

his car looks looks decent, mine looks like a 30 year veteran at the bunny ranch. I don't care about my paint...but the last 2 times I was at viking there were INS guys there lol and black vans with a few mexicans in each
