The 383 is ready to go

Here is the 383 ready to install. I mocked up the headers so I could run my spark plug wires the custom set of wires I made up to route them nice and clean. All I have do is terminate the ends of the wires to the distributor.

Are you dropping it in from the top complete like that?

The motor looks amazing! Can't wait to see it between the wheels!

I would love too but its not going to happen. I have to take the headers off, pull the distributor out so it does not hit the firewall and maybe the valve covers so I can get the connectors on the injectors.

You may have a problem putting it in with the Super Ram on as well I hate to say. If you try it be sure to protect the finish with rags where the chain crosses it. You should be able to put the injector plugs on with the valve covers installed though.

OK thanks. I will rap the entire intake box with a towel. It looks pretty tight to get to the injecters with the tall valve covers on.
