ohh no! computer help needed!
I deleted a file from my computer last night, and It wasn't in the recycling bin! I tried system restore and downloaded google desktop and nothing came up!! does any one know how I can find these files?

what type of file? theres advanced software you can get for it but if it isnt that important to you i wouldnt pay the money

well stuff might have come up if you DIDN'T do system restore.. now you might be SOL.
I'm assuming since you are posting this question, you don't know how files are stored on computers, and have been using this computer 24/7 since the incident which is no good.
try something like this:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/fat-ntfs-undel/
Or (since I'm assuming you're running windows) An NTFS undelete program

there was a program that i used a little while ago that worked really well, but i forget what its called, ill check it out when i get home.

And (even though it's prolly too late) don't install or save anything on the drive that had the file that you deleted, and use the computer as little as possible.
If you delete a file by mistake, the best thing you can do is shut down the computer right away and put the hard drive in another computer for the recovery.

You are shat out of luck on that one, unless you want to spend either ~$70 OR 4 1/2 hours digging thru multiples by using a free file recovery program. Now, is that Jenna Jameson video you deleted really worth $70???
