Scooter & I headed to Flemington tonight for the last Flemington cruise night of the year. Nice little show. We saw lots of nice cars. I took some pics, not too many.
A really nice 3rd gen. I'm hoping he logs in here. Really nice mods, very clean. His name was Phil, I think.
LS1 powered 69 Camaro. Super nice guy. We waited around his car for a while to talk to him. We finally saw him leaving. I talked to him in the street for a minute, then he pulled over and talked to us for like 1/2 an hour. He says a lot of older guys kind of poo-poo the new tech but seemed happy someone took interest in the project. He did it himself.
A 1 of 1 in this red 1970 Hemi Charger. Very nice. I believe Scooter's cousin painted this car some time ago.
A really nice 67 Firebird. Fully loaded, PW, AC, fold down seat. Also probably the same paint color my 67 should be, or at least very close. Again a super nice guy. This car was really nice and I bet it gets overlooked far too often.
hey guys, Im Phil, and thats my red 86 in the pics. Just joined this site, and have been a member of TGO for a little over a years now. I met Scooter and BonzoHansen last night, great to see some other local enthusiasts. It would be nice to see a little more thirdgen support at the flemington cruise nights next year, its only been me for the last couple years.
cool site and i will start being in here more often.

The LS1 powered 69 convert was there the time I went. And yes, that is NJSteve's Hemi Charger. He used to go to Jackson Outlets but I haven't seen him this year. He's restoring a 72 TransAm and you should see the work in progress as he goes along. And the shop restoring my JL8 also painted the Hemi Charger.
I believe my cousin painted it actually, before PRC moved
Yes, I know it was at the shop in Bridgewater being painted. Rich was showing me some of the cut up metal done way back when the car was first set up for racing. Steve the owner was lucky enough to find a Hemi engine for it that was actually the very next VIN to his car.
Oh, and at one time Steve actually owned one of the Hemi Cuda convertibles but sold it way too early. I think he sold it for around $50K which was big money back at that time. Now they supposedly sell for $2-4 million!
