Thats not to shabby. I pay $600 a year for the Z, and $500 a year for the Dime. Both have limited coverage though.

full coverage on the silverado and liability on the 96 is $780 for 6 months.
Liability on the saturn is $264 for 6 months.
Full coverage on the bike is $480 a year i think.
All of them are through allstate and they gave me cheaper quotes then geico, and rider for the same amount of coverage.

Any points on your license?

...and amount of coverage. Higher liability limits and lower deductibles cost more.

Think this has anything to do with it?

Insurance companies won't be expecting the safest driving from someone who has previously had their license suspended. And they will jack their rates way up to make sure they are covered.
There is also more than 6 times the amount of people (and as such, drivers on the road) in NJ than there is in NC, which raises the risk of accidents quite a bit:
NC - 165.24/sq MI
NJ - 1,134/sq MI

Insurance companies here love drivers who have points or probs with their license. They will make you pay for your mestyakes for a LOOOng time. Insurance companies pay out big money in lawsuits so you with bad driving records have to pay for it. Thats how it is. Be smart when you drive and don't take stupid chances and you will pay less for insurance. I got a lead foot too!

i pay close to $3000.00 on the WS6 for full coverage under my parents account. Before i wrecked it, i was paying about $1200.00 a year for minimal coverage under my own name. its rediculous. its over doubled since i wrecked it, repaired it, and got full coverage.

That is at a state/dmv level. Insurance 'points' remain for like 39 months. However, many companies overlook just 2 at any given time.
