project 68 underway

i bought this car off ebay about a year ago. the guy told me that it had all new sheet metal and that everything was in good shape, but it was just a shell. needless to say when i got the car i saw that it needs all the sheet metal replaced. so i have to tear everything apart that other people did to "FIX" it. my friend and i just started renting a oversized two car garage with heat and electric. so yesterday i brought the 68 over there. today was the day i started tearing into it. i cant really go to much further because i have to weld braces to keep the body straight. then i have to make a jig to put the body on so its easier to work on. take a look at the pics. they are on page one and the first row of page two.

this is going to be a long project. im gad that i can actually start working on it. its just hard to balance what little funds i have with 2 cars that still need so much. so this is a no rush project. if i feel like taking a car out for a ride, i can take the 84 out.
