Low coolant light??

I recently picked up my 95 Camaro z28 the car is pretty well modded and only has 92k miles on it. Since I've had it my low coolant light has been on, I've checked the coolant in the radiator and the over flow and their both perfect, I have absolutely no coolant leaks and the car runs extremely cool, does anyone know why this is on? I've checked just about everything i can check and i cant find any problems. It's not a big deal the car runs mint, its just annoying to see lol any suggestions?

if the coolant level light is on...and your coolant levels are perfect, and you have no leaks...

that would lead me to believe coolant level sensor? do LT1s have them?

My 94 did the same thing, the sensor just went bad, you can pull the connection off the sensor and the light will go out till you get a new sensor in there. I know it gets annoying.

Probably the sensor. Happened to me twice. Its one of those things on an LT1 that go bad every so often.

just make sure you get the sensor soon, does your car have an electric water pump? if so and it gets low on coolant itll burn up the water pump FAST

Its one of the most common things to go bad. Take the sensor out and clean it. If that doesn't work then just replace it. Or unplug it like Dan said to make the light go out. You could leave it unplugged, and just keep a eye on your levels like you (which you should anyways when its working, heh). But I would just clean it first.

Did I mention that its common??????
