Fuel filter location 89 GTA

Where is the fuel filter located on a 89 GTA 5.7? this is the first time I've changed one and I don't really know where it is

im pretty sure its under the drivers side of the car twards the rear. its should be behind the frame

Yup, just get under the rear and you should see where all the fuel and brake lines come back on the driver's side.

IIRC the filter is just after the fuel lines turn away from the brake lines to head up to the tank.
