Sebring airbag question

my lady has an 01 sebring and she said the airbag light came on for some reason... shes looking at me to help her with it but honestly i dunno much about that...so im wondering what would cause to turn on and how can i turn it off and look like a hero

You can just take it to Autozone and they can scan it....

If you're close to Lawrenceville, I can take a look and find out what it is. The only thing is you would have to come in between 11pm and 5am. I work third shift service at Greenfield Dodge.

Yeah, we open Monday at 6am and don't close until 8pm on Friday. I'm the 3rd shift service/parts advisor. It's different, I know.

ya i used the modis from my job on it....see i didnt know airbag codes were handled the same way as check engine codes.

Still it was odd because the only code i could find was for a pass. side seat belt tensioner.... i guess that 8k dollar piece of equipment gets it done haha
