Do you think this AC/DC song sounds better live or recorded?

AC/DCs "Who made who".
Live version
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ghCd5pXxA0

Studio recording
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kz3kJJJ6Txw

I think the live version sounds a lot better. The song sounds better quicker.

I asked on this board because I know there are some classic rock fans on here and I have been having a disagreement with my friend about this. I realize its just opinion, but I wanted to see what the general consensus was on here.

Also, anyone looking forward to their new album or seeing them in concert?
Some of my friends don't think Brian Johnson's voice would be as good anymore. I feel that it wouldn't be too drastic of a change if his voice did change with age.

I think the live version is better as well. Same thing with "Heat Seeker". The live version is a little faster and the song is a lot better.

Even though Brian Johnson's voice may not be as good I still plan on getting tickets to go see them.

Almost everytime, the LIVE VERSIONS of hits are ALWAYS 100% more exciting, with more energy and drive than the recorded ones. Just watch a LIVE concert with "FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK, WE SALUTE YOU". Try and get those cannons into a recording studio! :rock

I think I read on one of their websites that they are supposed to have two dates at Madison Square Garden and one date at the "swamp" Izod Center in November.

I realize that a studio recording can clean a singer's voice up, but Brian Johnson sounds really good on that rock'n'roll train realease off of the new album. Plus, he has had like close to 4 years off from performing a big circuit. I am definitely going to one of their shows this time around.

I really regret missing that Buck Cherry & AC/DC concert 3-4 years back at PNC. I feel as if my favorite rock band circle will be complete after seeing STP, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and hopefully seeing AC/DC.

I don't know about way better, I think they are on equal footing with each other. To each his own though. I just happen to like more songs with Brian Johnson as the lead singer.

However, I do like "I've got big balls"
"Let there be rock"
"Dirty deeds"
and "Highway to hell".

Do you think Brian Johnson's voice may have changed drastically?

Those are going to be pretty pricey at first. I am definitely waiting to buy tickets when more are available and the price goes down. I think I read somewhere that they are going to be $100 a piece and up. Anyone know other good, reliable, trustworthy websites that sell concert tickets outside of Ticketmaster? I stress the reliable and trustworthy sites.

Reliable and Trustworthy......StubHub.....but they're a bigger ripoff than Ticketmaster. It's pretty much a monopoly on ticket sales these days.

In my opinion they were a different band with a different sound. No real comparison- just different. Kinda like Sammy and Dave in VH.

It replaced the Fungus, I think it's actually 52 or 53.

Got tix for the Nov 19 show....$110 a piece for pretty lousy seats....Eff Ticketmaster and the people who come up with these prices! But this is one of those bands I have to see in my lifetime and who knows when they may be around again?

Man, I feel the same way about the ticket prices and wanting to see them. I am crossing my fingers that if I wait closer to the date, the prices will either drop or they'll open another section of seating for a cheap price. I will so kick myself if I miss out on them again this time around.

When Van Halen played the swamp back in either Jan or Feb, I was fortunate enough to score cheap tickets right before the show date because they decided to open up another row of seating that was actually pretty damn close to the stage. So I got cheap tickets and great seats to boot.

You did better than me. I paid $122 a piece for Section 233, which seems to be an area close to the stage according to the seating chart. It came out to like$244.00 for both tickets. Pricey, but a small price to pay in order to see my favorite band. They'd better ge good though. lol.
