Need quick advice on oil problem

Think there was too much oil in the bike after an oil change... it ran fine for a bit then started shooting redic amount of white smelly oil smoke and running like it was going to stall, but idled fine. got it home in a trailer, drained it clean and there def was too much in it by about a quart and a half, sealed it up with new oil/filter, went to start it and it doesnt even kick.... what could be the problem? im letting it sit now hoping that if any oil made it past the skirts that it drains its way out... any idea if oil gets up top if its the same as having water in the chamber causing very very very bad things to happen? :-/

96 bmw r850r... think this ones air/oil cooled. 99% sure the twin little "radiators" are just oil coolers so no coolant leaking in the motor heh...

talked to a few people through friends that are motorc mechs and they are all saying they think its just that the extra oil pushed up and teh smoke is just the oil that burning off, said most of it will settle back but whatever got burned will probably just continue to burn/smoke for awhile longer... ill go on a few short trips around the block see if things get better.

took it out to a loacl parking lot this morning and ran it around for awhile... smoke is still comming out like mad but i noticed that while sitting at idle (i cant see if its happening at speed obviously lol) when i roll on a wot from idle it spits black liquid out of the exhust pipe...i kept reving it and got probably a half cup of it to come out but it just seems to keep comming. when i started to ride it it would be fine rolling on, then bog at about 1/3 to redline, be fine all the way to max rpm... theres like a dead spot where it sputters out, you have to really get hard on the gas to get it to go.

after i got home and it was off, the smoke continued to come out of the tail pipe like there was a small fire inside the tail pipe kinda like burning rubber smell...

it sat on the street for about 10 minutes and i checked on it, and that black liquid is dripping out down by the aprk plugs and on one of the seals on each cylinder closest to the body of the bike (boxer motor) and also where the cat joins with the exhuast pipe.

Pull the plug(s). Wouldn't be surprised if they were oil-fouled. Clean them up and try again.

If you did get oil up in the combustion chamber it should just burn off, and my guess would be that unless there was LOTS of it, it won't hurt anything besides fouling the plugs.
