Anyone else watching Petit LeMans??

The #4 Corvette just broke a throttle, lots of tight racing, a few moves that would qualify as more stupid than "bold", and Scott Sharp crashed out in the first hour.

This race has been insane.

Porsche has a protest filed against them by Acura over fuel already and the race has a few hours to go.lol

Even more reason for him to be there.

I only caught part of it. as a good race. What happened with that one Porsche crash? I missed it and came back after they were talking about it.

You mean the Flying Lizard car? That was the result of the Lola spinning on the restart. He spun out, stopped, and stalled about halfway down the hill from the bridge. Cars were splitting it at high speed until the 911 came along and got boxed out and couldn't correct around him.

It was a spectacular hit. Drivers door of the 911 to the left front corner of the Lola followed shortly by another LMP2 car collecting a wheel in the debris field and going off track hard.
